Cracking walk in #PettsWood on the last day of BST. Happened across this memorial sundial dedicated to the #WilliamWillet who made it happen exactly 100 years ago.
BTW, if you’ve recently lost a pair of glasses in the aforementioned wood, they are perched on a tree stump 25m south of the sundial!

So true, So true. Saw them in Leeds and London and was overjoyed witnessing both performances. Danced and sung my way through every song in the set.
But now have this nagging sense of melancholy that I won’t experience them again live.

What a ledge. I saw the U.K. Subs play at the Cooperage in Plymouth in May 1990. Imagine my surprise when I walked into my kitchen early the next morning to find Charlie making himself a cup of tea! Turns out my housemate had invited the band back for a bevvy and they spent the night. Top bloke!

A walk into the clouds today as we ascended #Coniston Old Man. Not much of a view at the summit but we were treated to a kaleidoscope of ever changing light and cloud formations on the hike up.
