Green has always had anti flyer cards. The odd part is it taps instead of killing.

A few legends like this isn't too bad, but it just seems like most of them are designs that mean you don't have to think to build or play a commander deck.

I used the Run Eladamri's Vineyard because plenty of decks couldn't use two green mana every turn and would just take damage.

Banding was actually good, but it was complicated, because it worked differently in attacking and defending. And then was made more complicated by Bands with Other.

This is the card that immediately leapt to mind for me. It's basically useless now.

They said it didn't come up very often anyway, and was just an extra complication, without any benefit. I disagree. A big part of the game is resource management. And taking damage for unspent mana was a consequence of mismanaging your resources, or being greedy.
