Let's be frank, as great as the film is, it doesn't have a shot against some of the other nominees, who are also featured in major categories.
I think it's more about attempting to prevent people from learning about Hind's story than the award itself. Which is outrageous, ofc.

Together with Bradbury, that's how I fell in love with science fiction and why it's still my favorite genre. So I needed to buy this one :)
04.03.2026 20:27 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I mentioned it before - I discovered Lem - and also "The Illustrated Man" - through old issues of Polish weekly PrzekrΓ³j, which was a real window to a Western world during Soviet occupation period. And even much later, when I visiting Lublin as a kid in the 00s, I loved to read them!
