Thanks for all the kind comments!

I do agree that the Green Party seems to be interviewed with so much more hostility than anyone else.

But you know what - bring it on. πŸ’š

I used to be a fan of Streeting but like Starmer, Cooper & others, being in power has changed them & their beliefs.
His NHS dealings are worrying, yet he's probably the only potential candidate to replace Starmer. No thanks, it would just be more of the same.

Maybe it’s you that’s wrong, Wes.
Maybe you’re just not appealing to anyone much.
You’re not convincing Reform voters but, in pandering to them, you’re pissing everyone else off.
Progressives have had a decade of being scorned and ignored. Don’t criticise us for minding and doing something about it.

Burnham would β€˜probably’ have won byelection, says Labour deputy leader Lucy Powell calls for party to make more use of Greater Manchester mayor after Gorton and Denton defeat

Would that be the same Lucy Powell that said 2 days ago that it was going to be a "close race" & she was "feeling confident"?
Is anyone still trusting her judgement?

Govt can't have a serious policy on immigration if it won't say what a sustainable level might be, nor process of how it decides that

Delivering net emigration by mistake in 2026 while insisting they must drive numbers much lower shows lack of any immig planning process as much as 2019-24 spike did

It would seem you don't comment on politics often. Now I can see why. You don't know what you're talking about. I would stick to crafting if I was you.

Still can't get my head around the fact that socialism is now considered to be 'extreme' by the Labour party.

40.7% is a fantastic result for the Greens and Hannah Spencer. She ran a fantastic campaign and was a breath of fresh air. A result of over 40% shows that polling deeply underestimated the frustration people feel with Starmer and their general disgust at Reform. The two party system is over for good

Dyson settles forced labour suit in landmark UK case Migrant workers alleged they were subjected to abusive treatment in a Malaysian factory for Dyson.

This is why Dyson backed Brexit. Because he hoped it would mean workers rights and human rights being decimated so he could use workers as a commodity. Dyson has agreed to settle a lawsuit filed by 24 migrant workers, who alleged were subjected to forced & abusive treatment in a Malaysian factory

Terrible night for Labour. When a party loses the trust of thousands of its own voters in its heartlands, that’s not an aberration but a stark warning.

Just as in Caerphilly last year, this result proves voters are willing to break the mould when they don’t feel heard.

It's about time all parties got together to inform the uneducated that all our country's problems has not & never will be, the fault of immigrants.

It's about the greed of our politicians, along with their millionaire & billionaire backers.

It's why we need a #WealthTax & to #TaxTheRich.

Yet another Brexit prediction turns to dust The europhobes said if we left the EU, other countries would follow. Wrong. In fact, the opposite has happened – nations are now clamouring to get in

Remember Frexit, Grexit? All lies. No clamouring to leave the EU but instead a clamouring to join.
Brexit was a lesson to other countries not to be so stupid!

β€˜How can I start again at 68?’ Maria has spent 50 years in the UK – and is fighting deportation She left the Netherlands for Britain in the 1970s at just 17. Now, after receiving a short suspended sentence, she faces removal to a country she hasn’t lived in for five decades or visited since 1999

How can deporting this poor woman (a carer) that has called the UK home for 50 years "be conducive to the public good,” or "in the public interest" ?

FPTP is not for for purpose. Labour now standing in the way of enacting it after backing it not too long ago

Brexit: the Β£240bn mistake we can't afford to keep making - West Country Voices Nearly ten years after the referendum, the numbers are in. And they’re devastating. The economic carnage Multiple independent studies published in 2025 have reached the same brutal conclusion: By 2025...

An excellent breakdown of all areas of Brexit damage

By 2025, Brexit has reduced UK GDP by 6 to 8 per cent.

That’s Β£240bn per year that our economy has lost.

Once again - UK involvement in 'Made in Europe' is about a 5th order issue compared to the huge debate ongoing in the EU about whether to remain an open economy or not. French protectionism is meeting heavy resistance, and the UK does not play in this debate. www.politico.eu/article/made...
