Trying to stay positive and remind myself if I lose my benefits I can always go to a local food pantry. But I also acknowledge it’s hard to focus on solutions when your security is suddenly gone

I may lose SNAP Nov 1st due to the Able-Bodied Adults Without Dependents work rules. When I applied for SSDI thru a mental lens I only received partial disability when they focused on my physical surgery limitations (that’s now solved) so I fear my psyche disabilities won’t be taken seriously again😕

This isn’t a focus in the Discourse because the loudest voices with the biggest platforms are people who have never worried about their next meal. I’ve needed SNAP; I’ve used SNAP; I’ve lost it when it mattered. This is going to be a wave of mass starvation beyond living memory in this country.

It’s hard to convey just how much Chicagoans are mobilizing against ICE. Don’t want to downplay the harm, or make it seem like a fair fight. But in neighborhoods across this city, ICE is getting chased by people blowing whistles and shouting. People are running TOWARD ICE to protect their neighbors.

I get people wanting to make a little extra cash to feed their families and whatnot. It just feels like the pure science crowd is lacking a lot of creativity and would benefit working in tandem with the spiritual scientists who aren’t trying to sell you something.

On 3I ATLAS: Trying to watch a balanced dose of ethical psychics w/ scientific backgrounds & scientists focused solely on factual data. What’s bothering me is how the latter seems to always hock the most unimaginative garbage merch
