We had much greater priorities at the time Kev. The club may well have propsed a renewal, but since then, he has sent mixed messages, is constantly messaging his desire to leave the club, and was veing heavily pursued by Barca, who have gone quiet. I think this has caused Arne to have a rethink.

The club is under no obligation to renew (whether promised or not). Maybe if Diaz had shown his loyalty to the club rather than twisting for a move every other day, the contract renewal would be done already! Had enough of this now. Get the deal done so we can move on!

I think that's what hurts the most. The photos of him and his family on his wedding day. He looked so happy. He looked like a man who had everything he wanted in this world. And now he's gone. It's so hard to accept it. Absolutely overwhelmed with grief 💔. I can't begin to know how his family feels.

I'm in complete shock, Eudis. On a real high with all the great summer business being done by the club and now, it really doesn't matter about that. We've lost a world-class footballer and such a wonderful, thoughtful, and beautiful person.

We'll have to agree to disagree. Not too long ago, when a true socialist led the party and was very much backed by a majority party support. It can happen again. We just need Starmer to fail (which he's doing miserably), and then socialists can win the party back.

I think everyone was utterly sick to death of the CONservatives. Granted that Starmers Labour Party isn't much better, but it is still an improvement on Tories.
I'm hoping Starmer will be removed sooner rather than later (I'm not a fan either), and a leader with true social values can be elected.

Yes, I think at times, the work from those behind the scenes goes unrecognised. Arne was very quick to applaud his team and the management/executives, in his speech, but as fans we must also recognise all the hard work and sacrifice by 'all staff'. We should also applaud our owners, FSG.

Glad you posted this as it’s easy to overlook the huge contribution from others behind Arne

And, not only did we employ a new manager. We practically changed the whole coaching and backroom. We brought in a new Sporting Director and Michael Edwards returning in a new role. As a club, this achievement is miraculous. Simply amazing 👏!

I absolutely love this I’ll never stop smiling looking back on it all 😁 it was like one msssive street party and looked and felt absolutely unreal 🥳 just everyone full of joy, singing, drinking and having a bloody good time. It felt like we’d made our own festival it was incredible ❤️

It happens... we still have a job to do, but I'm just going to try to enjoy the day.
