I never tried making a complete quilt with the pieceliquรฉ technique, I used it for two blocks in a sampler quilt which I never finished. I thought it was a good technique at the time (a few years ago now). I might have to revisit it, your quilt is stunning, it should have been hung at QuiltCon.
