I'm sorry for the lack of updates, everyone. I've been feeling pretty overwhelmed overall with all the stuff I have to do. I will try to be at least a little more present, and give you all more news on this project, as well as everything else.

Well... What now?

Right now, I am still prioritizing my freelance projects, since I need the money, but, once I get these out of the way, I wanna focus on the Comic Dub project again. I wanna complete this project, and hopefully even do all chapters, if possible.

[...] involved in this project, even some who are waiting to use it as a portfolio for other voice acting projects, and leaving everyone hanging like this is just irresponsible.

For that, I'd like to apologize. To everyone involved in the project, to Doug and to his fans waiting for the project.

Recently, with my health FINALLY back to normal, I've been focusing mainly on freelance editing projects to keep myself afloat. However, I understand that this project has been put aside for too long, and I need to get it done at some point.

Not that I see it as a chore, but there are others [...]

[...] focus again on my financial situation, leaving the Comic Dub project, as well as my studies, to the side.

Other things happened, too, in the meantime. I lost loved ones, caught a flu and two viral infections, and even had to format my PC because of a virus (thankfully, nothing was lost) [...]

On March, I had a very important trip to meet my boyfriend. That meant I had to focus more on earning some money for the trip (it was a once in a lifetime opportunity I simply could not lose). Even with that focus and some help, I still had just barely enough for all the expenses, so I had to [...]

I work as a freelance video editor for a streamer friend, doing shorts and other kinds of video for him. Not only that, but I am currently studying Angular, Java and GameDev, too. All of these things, by themselves, occupy a lot of my time. But even those had setbacks as well.

Now, you might be wondering: "That's not a lot of progress for the amount of time this has been in the oven", and I agree, it's not.

This project, from the start, was something I'd work on the side, whenever I got some free time from working on other projects or studying programming [...]

I'm also working on actual scripts for the VAs using the comic's text, so I can add more flair to the voice acting of the comic, that way it's not simply a reading of the comic itself, and fits better in its video version. This also helps with context and direction for everyone involved. [...]
