Let us remember that nature is more than a 'service', time is more than money, people are more than 'tasks', and love, care and respect has to underpin all, if we are to release the creativity we need to act collectively in a way that restores, nourishes and lasts.

Very much looking forward to speaking at this event (albeit remotely) and to explaining why we must find ways of resourcing continuous monitoring of our interconnected terrestrial and marine environments within the #coastal #seascape.

Very excited to be in Brussels today for the "When nature can do the job" policy event, introduced perfectly by Dr Hilde Eggermont, Director @inbo.be, highlighting importance of science, community involvement, and full recognition of benefits in putting action into place.
