Despite my trying to explain this, this person has gone out of their way to find me here. I’m not necessarily upset, but I am disappointed & saddened. I have spent a year on that account cultivating such lovely connections with people from all over the world & I have no intention of letting (2/?)

This person come between that. I plan on keeping that account active for the time being, just to keep appearances, but I will likely not be posting there going forward. This account will become my new main & hopefully this time it will stay between us! :) (3/4)

Basically the same book in a different font. Firstly, we have the Victorian gothic novella that is the earliest known work of vampire literature & explores themes of forbidden desire. The second is an emotionally intense retelling filled with sapphic tension. Both very enjoyable reads!

My heart is in shambles. This is easily one of the most devastatingly beautiful pieces of literature I've ever had the pleasure of reading. A literary coming of age lesbian romance that perfectly encapsulates yearning & the immense weight of the queer experience. SO GOOD.

So glad this book lived up to the hype. I thoroughly enjoyed it & could barely keep my eyes away. Vampires, toxic yuri, diverse characters, & a plot filled with such interesting twists & turns.
There's so much to love, I almost didn't want it to end.

this book is a YA Igbtq+ fiction that explores a bittersweet experience with first love on the day the main characters are expected to die.

just finished a quick read that i absolutely adored. i've always loved learning about the Harlem Renaissance & the boom of african american culture & creativity through the arts. after i finished it the first time, i went back & gave it a 2nd read just so i could fully appreciate it. 10/10
