'appreciating the beauty of others as works of art instead of consumable objects on display for sale'

This stopped me in my tracks! It is so beautiful and so accurate.

Empire Records was one of our sleepover staples in the 90s. Must have seen it 20+ times. I still don't properly know who Rex Manning is

Reminded me of when I was on Hinge and I matched with a man whose bio said 'Obama in the streets, Osama in the sheets'

I swiftly unmatched him but not before that sentence was burned into my brain for the rest of my life

I totally feel this, my dad was 73 and even though I know it's irrational I feel like it's a personal affront to me when anyone anywhere is older. Also when anyone else has a dad. Or mentions the concept of fatherhood. And these things happen EXTREMELY ALL THE TIME

Looking down on an oval shaped puddle on a muddy woodland path. The winter trees around and above it are reflected in the collected rain water and a pale blue sky with cumulus clouds. A few golden brown leaves are floating in the puddle and strewn around in the mud.

Managed a spot of puddle bothering this morning.

MIETTE Miette is a seventies-inspired wraparound skirt which ties at the front in a bow. Super simple to sew and fit, with no fiddly fastenings,...

Lino print of birch trees Lino print of a washing machine

I started lino printing last month, just for the sake of being creative. These are the two most recent prints I've done and I'm proud of them both! Trees because I like them and a washing machine because I go to the launderette a lot and I find it inspiring in a way I can't explain

Check out the final episode of this series of The Skewer, in which I imagined what it would be like if Catherine O'Hara's Moira Rose visited Gorton and Denton ahead of the by election

I am really loving your Who posts, they were my dad's fave band and every time I see your references I'm reminded of him in a nice way. And also I learn about the Who! Win win

Someone once described their friend (a white man who writes screenplays) as 'the real victim of Me Too' because he hadn't been able to sell his latest script

It feels more and more challenging to maintain the self delusion that men are ok to be around in the face of so much evidence that they clearly are not
