Had to turn a potentially new and exciting remote position down because the company wouldn't expense the up to twice a month travel to London.

For context it can cost nearly £300 for a day trip down there, especially if you have to be down there during normal working hours.

Ah the broadband is back! I can gawp at all those Discord servers again.

Well the broadband went from dropping packets to just being dead for up to an hour. 🫠

The local network for my ISP is bit wonky at the moment, I'm still connected but I'm dropping packets like a mf.

The ISP is aware but they say it won't be fixed for another few hours.
