Firefighters have been attacked in another double-tap attack in Sumy.

They were already attending one emergency when a drone deliberately hit their marked fire truck.
The crew managed to leap clear, but the fire engine was wrecked.

Update from Kyiv, where the council now says 23 people were injured. 14 of those were emergency workers.

Some awful photos and remember three of their colleagues died. I don't know yet if this was a deliberate double-tap attack by Russia, but it looks like it from these photos.

In Lutsk rescuers say there may still be people buried in the rubble of a 9-storey apartment block which was hit by Russia this morning.

The number injured in the city has already risen to 16.

Emergency workers also say they rescued many pets from the building.

Belgian police are investigating an awful double murder of a Ukrainian refugee mum and her daughter.

The father is fighting on the frontline, while the elder son was at school when the attack happened. The victims were stabbed then the house in Haasrode, near Leuven.

Thanks to the excellent work of @killedinukraine.bsky.social, we can see Lieutenant-Colonels are quite a scalp, not even 300 of those yet denazified in 3.5 years of illegal war.

One of the six drones which hit Kharkiv did not explode.

One did detonate as it hit the 17th floor of an apartment block in the Slobidskyi district. Another high-rose was hit on the second floor (they don't have ground floors in Ukraine, the bottom is 1)

This is so sweet. "Thank you for defending Ukraine" says little Andriy, who thanks anyone he sees in military uniform.

Ukraine says it has attacked a Russian military camp over 9,000km away from them.

High police and FSB activity can be seen now around Bukhta Desantnaya (Bay), near Vladivostok in the far east of Russia.

"Two powerful explosions" were heard there this morning.

Russia claims two people were killed by shelling of an occupied village in Kherson region.

We only have the word of the collaborator Vladimir Saldo, and this photo of a beat-up ambulance which was also allegedly damaged in Nova Zburivka, near Hola Prystan.

It's now known 2 people were killed in Russia's morning aerial bomb strikes on a village in Zaporizhzhia.

Three others were also wounded in Verkhnia Tersa.
The victims were trapped under rubble when their houses were destroyed.

Turkiye's FM, visiting Ukraine, held a press conference with his counterpart Andrii Sybiha

Hakan Fidan says "Either we close our eyes to this war, or we achieve permanent peace by the end of the year. Turkiye believes the only way is to immediately achieve a ceasefire and a just + permanent peace."

Ukraine has captured 10 more Russian soldiers INSIDE Russia.

A long video was published, with all 10 appearing unmasked on camera, having voluntarily surrendered "because of inhuman conditions" and constant threats from their commanders.
This cannot be independently verified.

Another insidious attack in Zaporizhzhia region, a blatant attack on emergency services, which is of course another war crime.

12 firefighters have been injured, one of whom is fighting for his life. Russia directly attacked the fire department in Stepnohirsk with drones.

Putin and senior military are holding crisis talks according to Russian media. Again they threaten use of the "Oreshnik" missile, a standard response.

All aircraft at Engels-2 were raised as a preventative measure. 🇺🇦SBU attacked Olenya, Belaya, Diaghilev + Ivanovo airfields.

And just for a change, another threat of ballistic missiles sends half of Ukraine scurrying back into shelters and metro stations.

A couple of nasty incidents to report in Kherson.

Explosives from drones hit an apartment building in the city. Fire broke out and spread to two balconies on an upper floor.

No people were injured in this attack.

It cannot be said too often - the headline from says it all "As Ukrainian POWs die in Russian prisons, autopsies point to a system of brutality"

This @apnews.com report says at least 206 Ukraine died in Russian jails, and another 245 were likely murdered as soon as they were captured.
