I started Disorientation by Elaine Hsieh Chou, last week and at first I wasn't enjoying it so much. Glad I kept reading—it's a great book and one of my favorites so far this year.

No, struggling too. I've been trying to read Orbital and it's great but I don't want to read a great book and associate it with the madness in the world right now beacuse every time I think back on it, this timeline is what I'll remember.

I'd do it. I often do it for others. Sometimes I don't even tell them. I think it's like a way of sprinkling a bit of kindness. 😊

I read this children's book for the author, and I'm sharing it because it's too impressive not to. I would have loved this as a kid. The illustrations are sublime. The story takes place in the Ukraine and the US and has some wholesome themes of family, friendship, and forgiveness.😍
