This is a pretty thorough, high tech investigation happening in NYC. If it were you or me that got smoked on a sidewalk in a big city, I seriously doubt the investigation would be so well rounded.

The signal is so weak that she doesn’t even get the text right away. Thankfully, despite me having been a turd all morning, she did notice I hadn’t returned and rescued me from my confinement. Time for new door springs.

I go out to the garage to grab my WWII USN deck jacket. It’s been howling wind and pouring rain for a few days. Our house/garage was built 74 years ago, and I think the garage door springs are the originals. I enter the garage, just as a gust of wind blows the door shut behind me. 1/2
