Only time will tell if he, and his minions, are going to get away with murder, as he said he would. Restoring faith in democracy and rule of law is riding on how we are going to handle this situation.

This is why we need to restructure SCOTUS. We need a new Congress in a year time for that.

Let judicial consequences fall upon everyone that is complicit with this.

They don't have the power to change the justice system but electing mayors with integrity can be the first step to signal a change of the entire system, including the justice system.

A Trump war against Venezuela won't be about drugs, or democracy, or Tren de Aragua. A Trump war against Venezuela would be about justifying and personal agenda in this administration.

If there is a war against Venezuela don't look for its causes in the relationship between the US and Venezuela. Trump doesn't know anything,or care about Venezuela. Look for the cause of such war in Trump's (and Stephen Miller's )domestic agenda.

No, Trump doesn't want Venezuelan oil. If that was the case he just needed to lift sanctions and let Venezuelan oil flood the US market. His interest in Venezuela is as a weak and controllable external enemy to justify a domestic policy of terror. That is the direct influence of Stephen Miller.

It has never been about drugs. It has always been about justifying internal immigration crack down and continuing the narrative of Tren de Aragua as a legitimate internal threat. Killing people in the Caribbean seems to have PR impact without legal consequences... For now.
