Well the critique was always not seeing the state as an effective (and also not morally good) way to achieve the ends. In the case of a stateless society, would only ever bump and solidify its position and never allow an avenue to emerge, due its own contradictions. It necessitates centralisation.

I no longer identify with ML no, its come after a lot of disillusionment with historic events and present arguments.
I found myself drifting more towards Anarchism again once I more formally understood and took hold of the critique of state power and that its not an effective means.
