it's pretty clear what you mean when you contrast ‘northern working class’ with ‘white upper middle class; feathered life or image’, but it doesn't make sense to deploy existing British class discourse to chastise a woman who is French.

is it reasonable to direct ‘you have a class-based hatred of northerners’ at an immigrant?
