Cost of labour is the big unsung one here. People deserve to get paid to work!! Economies of scale for published work simply allow for the creator to be paid AND the book to be cheap in a way that is not possible when doing it all yourself

It’s ok to not be picture perfect! So often creatives feel that imposter syndrome sneak in when they feel like “this isn’t how the *real* [insert job here]s do it.” Even if they don’t now, I think it’s safe to say that they started out feeling the same way. So keep going!

It’s a “listen to Hunchback of Notre Dame while I work off manic energy at 11:30pm” kind of night. This soundtrack really kills it. The only downside is I can’t belt out singing while the rest of the house is asleep.
