🔹Policy engagement: The European Commission will hold a technical workshop this week, with a spotlight on ocean alkalinity enhancement (OAE) under the CRCF process, an important milestone for mCDR.

🔹Scaling market:@planetary_tech announced a new offtake agreement with Frontier for more than $31M, while @equatic_tech closed a major fundraise for more than $11.6M: two signals of growing confidence in mCDR.

🔹New collaboration: The mCDR Coalition officially launched, uniting companies, nonprofits, and academics to advance safe, scalable ocean-based carbon removal.

The primer is the product of a working group of 20+ companies and organizations committed to scaling carbon removal in the region. We thank our members and working group colleagues for contributing to this policy primer!
