1) clicked on my profile pic icon
2) click settings & privacy
3) click settings
4) scroll down to "your information" section
5) select download your information
6) select continue
7) select download or transfer information
8) select the acct you want to download (both my FB/IG were listed}

Ok this is what I did to download all photos from Facebook and this can be applied to IG as well. It is still "in progress" because it's 20 years worth of data! (The previous video I shared didn't show the same steps when I logged into my acct.)

This might only work from a computer as I don't see the same options from my cell phone. Again, just my experience and by no means an expert. Just figuring it out as I go!

it takes a bit but then you should get a notification that says your album is ready. It will ask you to re-enter your password and then the album will be available to save to your device!

personally, I am going through each album and deleting pics/videos Idc about and then selecting that particular album and clicked the ... and selected "download album"

I'm in the process of getting rid of Meh ta completely, so if anyone wants to know how to save your pictures/videos, this video has the steps to do so.
