This policy of removing and defunding anything federally published that may contain DEI content is wiping away the history of our nation. I'm disgusted by it. US citizens have a need to know about our countries history. Our fallen veterans deserve better also.

Ok. Did my homework on this. BBC and AP press news are fairly good unbiased news sources. For sane Republican leaning opinions that support democracy, follow the bulwark. (Spelling?). For left leaning opinions that support democracy you can follow Robert Reich or Beau of the Fifth Column.

Where can I find unbiased news that isn't being spun by any political party? And go!

Someday archeologists are going to dig through the ancient remains of my home and comment how "wealthy" my family must have been for this time period of the United States because they found a dozen eggs in my trash.

Personal Story.
I have family who are military veterans. They have ongoing health needs as they have reached an age when that is necessary. They are having trouble getting their VA appointments for their necessary well being because of the government layoffs. Real let down for military vets here.
