It subverts transparency when candidate uses the resources of an organization to stack (recruit) members. It’s contrary to the spirit of the Elections Act. It has same type of corporate structure as Canadian Taxpayers Association. It has donors but not members. It has no annual meetings, only existing directors chose new directors. It used its resources to interfere in the 2022 BCNDP leadership contest and boasted about doing so in its annual report.
