I mean, I am a Gen-Zer ("elder" Gen-Z, but I digress), and I've always had dinner around 6:30 or so. Hell, I've always considered that early; a lot of people/families around me growing up wouldn't eat until closer to 8 or 9!

Pac Man World 2 Re-Pac was the only thing that made me pop off. That game was 100% my early childhood before Mario entered my life.

Similar mindset here. I'm only two Layers into Bananza, and every so often I think, "What if this were a Wario World sequel...?"

The idea of Wario shoulder-bashing into walls and whatnot just feels right.

That makes sense; I can't imagine Nintendo expecting players to smash through every last bit of, say, the gold area at the end of the intro (which I highlight because I spent a good 20 minutes there 😖) and just never progress.

I raised an eyebrow at first, given that such a personal story doesn't seem like something to make into a show of all things, but seeing that McCurdy is directly involved in this does lower some of that initial skepticism/anger.

I should mention that my dad *really* didn't like the name Topaz, for whatever reason, so my brother and I compromised, letting him name her while we kept the name Fuji.

They're now *Goldie* and Fuji!

Y'know, there's a sadness I can't quite put at ease knowing I'm not at #TooManyGames this year. I'm not ashamed to admit that.
