People have warned about this kind of violence for years. But they weren’t the people the powers at be wanted to protect.

I am shocked at the speed, damage, and suffering caused by Trump and Musk's illegal cuts, firings and dismantling.
As you know, the courts are putting the brakes on and demanding that some fired federal workers be rehired and some appropriated funds be spent as Congress determined.
Now the CR you just approved takes the brakes off Trump and Musk and allows them to continue with reversals to promised funding.
It's full of damage to our lives and health and essential agencies.
To accede to this CR, as Congress has done, is a shocking example of willing compliance with tyranny. The GOP have failed in the duty and the senate democrats will face a new unstoppable groundswell of popular rage.
While I understand that this was a complicated decision and some felt interrupting ongoing legal cases was a risk too great, it is still alarming that Congress has failed to uphold its oath to the constitution and to protect its constitutional role from usurpation.
I therefore ask you to now use ALL the tools at your disposal -- in both chambers -- to put the brakes on.
NO MORE UNANIMOUS CONSENT, Senators.
Use the filibuster. Use quorum calls. NO MORE approving damaging unqualified nominees.
In the house, block bad bills. Use questions and speeches to expose the illegality, damage, and lies of King Trump and FElon Musk. Make criminal and judicial referrals.
