Esmu arī par to domājusi, ka tagad no Norvēģijas līdz Rīgai varu nokļūt dažu stundu laikā. Arī atceros stāstus no bērnības, ka vectētiņam Rīgas brauciens no Igaunijas pierobežas zirga pajūgā paņēmis vismaz nedēļu.

Getting ready for the first consultation of the week in 10 min. Going to be busy 3 days and then off to Easter holiday since in Norway Easter holiday starts on Thursday. Also have to squeeze in some food shopping since all grocery stores will be closed. That being said, looking forward to this week.

Reiz maģistra rakstīšanas procesā trijos naktī uznāca migrēnas aura. Zvanīju toreiz ģimenes ārsta informatīvajam telefonam, lai saprastu, kas tas ir un ko darīt. Man pajautāja, cik ilgi sēžu pie datora. Pēc atbildes 16 h, lika nolikt datoru un aizsūtīja gulēt 🫠

I was at the end part of my own therapy and was wondering how can this be end of psychology in my life. I was so fascinated and thankful for all I had learned and experienced and had a taste for psychology. Applied for studies 2 months later. Fast forward: Best job ever.

Man reizēm pietrūkst Twitter mazie burbuļi, kur varēja ventilēties uz nebēdu.

Ko tamborē?

I could never imagine saying that to someone I love. How can one return to normal relationship after telling it to someone? I can imagine kids saying it while they learn life and grow up, but then adults can teach them it's not ok.

Pirms šīs ziemas mīlēju sniegu, no šī gada ir mīlestības un naida attiecības. 😀 Ir bijuši 5 rīti, kad durvis knapi atvērt var. Dienu pirms lidojuma bija tāda vētra, ka rajonā mašīnas ieputināja uz ceļa.

Es jau ceturto gadu mēģinu sadraudzēties ar norvēģu cepumu receptēm. Augšējā bildē recepte, apakšējā realitāte. Tas notiek gadu no gada. 😂 Ceru, ka piparkūku mīkla izdevās veiksmīgi!

Mine are experiencing the pleasure of rest after having fresh made fish for them from a local fish store.

Meteorologi par baltiem Ziemassvētkiem manā reģionā:
"Var dzīvot cerībās". Tā arī nesapratu, vai ir vērts dzīvot tajās cerībās, vai tas no sērijas "cerēt var daudz ko"? Laikam jau labāk nekā "var necerēt".

I feel privileged to do the job: to be by the side while people go through one of the hardest times of their lives, that they choose a stranger to them at beginning (me) to open up and try to find hope. Never taking it for granted. It's such a challenging but also beautiful place where to be, right?

Been the most intensive week of 2024 because of workload, but now it's Friday afternoon and time to meet best friend, who I meet very rarely since we don't live in same country. Exciting weekend ahead. Wishing You to have a good one, too!

As a clinical psychologist when I start a consultation process with a new female clients coming in with being fatigue, low mood, anxiety, I usually ask if there has been blood work done lately and kindly ask them to visit GP and do it if not. It more often than not comes back as iron deficiency.
