I've been doing well lately. I've been on a social media and news media blackout. I logged out of Facebook and Instagram to reduce the urge to look. It really has helped my self-esteem and stress levels. It is kind of hard because social media is what keeps me connected to friends.

They said they took down forms for Income Driven Repayment plan. I really, really wish Biden canceled all student loans. Yes, I feel bad for racking a debt I can't repay, but I was trying to make a better life for myself. I tried to work through my disability.

I'm having a really hard time. Watching the news makes me feel like trash. I'm one of many who stands to lose every little thing I need to live. When I spent years hanging on by my fingernails and have nothing to show for it. Living in poverty wasn't my plan for my life. I'm a burden.

I'm not going to lie, I'm scared. I cried all last night. I'm glad I got on here. We do need a safe space especially since we're entering a time of fascism. We need to preserve the truth.

I had my yearly birthday hissy fit. All of my insecurities and past traumas of being either abused, neglected, or ignored came to the surface. I do have a small circle of close friends and I have to be fine with it. "Suffering no fools" leads to loneliness. At least I have people who do love me.

The fact that he and his daughters had to have security details due to threats during COVID is disgusting! He's devoted his life to helping us survive epidemics! He is an expert in his field. We should have followed his instructions instead of threatening people.

WE NEED YOU! It absolutely guts me that destroying our National Parks is goal of the soon to be administration. It really doesn't make any sense yet it's going on.

I really don't understand people leaving comments about saving our natural parks and spaces as waste! I will never get it! So clean air, water, and land is a waste?! I know trolls will descend, but are the same people who will complain when they can't go outside due to pollution.
