…the rest in the cubes. Then remove the frozen food, bag it in ziplocs, refreeze, and reuse cubes at later date. Then, meals just need reheating, but they’re frozen dinners I actually like. Past me did the work to make it tasty, so all I have to do is heat and eat.

I also freeze takeout leftovers.

You are not alone!! Souper cubes are basically ice cube trays but for 1 cup / 2 cup portions. Great for chili, pasta sauce, soup, enchiladas, whatever you can freeze.

Functionally, I am only cooking MAX once a week and hate eating the same thing every day. So I cook double batches and freeze…

Not what you’re after here, but I must recommend Souper cubes to help with regulating eating. Being able to make a giant batch of something when you’re feeling up to it, and freezing it in individual portions to eat when you can’t figure it all out, is truly life changing.
