Yeah the (former) volunteer apparently said that he got the number from one of Kat’s lists, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they just used other stalkerish methods to try to reach out and text the individual

Yeah seriously, trying to attack the guy who spoke up because a bad volunteer was sending him stalkerish and disrespectful messages is a bad take and I don’t think @katmabu.bsky.social would approve.

A situation happened, and Kat responded quickly to rectify it. That’s it.

Again, no one (other than the former volunteer) did anything wrong here.

This makes it even wilder on the part of the volunteer tbh. I had assumed they abused campaign provided resources since campaigns can have this kind of information. Glad the Kat campaign handled this swiftly.

Given all of this, I’m inclined to think it was a volunteer who didn’t follow rules or something

I’ve been told that Kat’s campaign did reach out to this individual via Instagram and apologized for the situation. They also apparently kicked out the person who sent the texts from volunteer spaces & the discord

Also apparently the individual who sent those texts is no longer allowed to be in volunteer spaces and in the discord
