Appellate court rules Ohio's ban on gender transition treatment for minors unconstitutional The law banning gender transition treatments for minors is headed to the Ohio Supreme Court for a final decision.

The Legislature passed the law in 2023 and later overrode a veto by the Republican governor. The state appeals court said parents have a "fundamental right" to seek medical care for children.

NIH announces that it will move all grant reviews to Center for Scientific Review (CSR) and terminate about half of its review staff.
