Spent today in an archive of 19th-century diaries. I know people have commented on how the frequency of mail in e.g. 19th-century London made letters like emails, bouncing back & forth multiple times per day. But I realized today that they were actually more like social media posts, because

Just had the most inspiring & invigorating couple of days @ Creative Medievalisms Now workshop @ Cambridge. Fiction, creative non-fiction, poetry, print-makers, comic-makers, film-makers, visual artists & more, all drawing on medieval sources. I spoke about my work & received so much in return ❤️

The fun only slightly lessened by massive travel chaos that means tomorrow is going to be a long LONG day.
