ECHILD is an ADR UK flagship dataset which can be used to better understand how education affects children's health, and how health affects children's education.

Another project is using ECHILD to explore attainment outcomes in primary school for children with neurodisability.

The research highlights how the period before school entry provides a valuable opportunity for early intervention to support these children.

We're hearing some vital insights from research comparing the mortality of young people with and without neurodisability, using the ECHILD dataset.

This study is a key example of how linked administrative data can help uncover patterns that need to be addressed.

Up for our final keynote - Dr Nisha da Silva from Ministry of Justice explores the groundbreaking MoJ Data First programme, funded by ADR UK, and how it’s delivering real progress in improving justice outcomes.

ADR UK PhD student Richmond Opoku discusses his project “Peeling back the layers of childhood care entry in the UK”.

And from Neil Rowland from ADR NI shared findings in relation to the impact of exclusions on students using Longitudinal Education Outcomes.

Our PhD student Christy Coles meanwhile discussed female offending trajectories, and how patterns reveal disparities between groups.

Christy also pointed out how there are often warning signs early on (such as during education) - positive intervention is key.

Prof Pia Hardelid of Kids Environment and Health Cohort outlined the team’s work & aspirations around showing how environment factors (like air quality and green space) affect child outcomes.

Important research from the Office for National Statistics shows an average reduction in pay for women following a diagnosis of endometriosis.

The study used anonymised linked health and economic data.
