Okay time to chip in for honorary DC blood(as he never showed up to play) Brook. Some of the talk around him is baffling. His risk taking was what got him those 100 odd runs. Losing a player with an injury which anyone can see is serious enough that they can't participate further isn't great. While I understand the concerns of misuse.......

Really don't think it was about that, India hardly had runs to bring the field in & let Atkinson swing & get a boundary. We won by 6 runs in the end. So the plan was to go for stumps initially and then hide the ball towards the end of the over knowing they would attempt a single of the last ball.
