Make sure to be changing the water every few days. You can also add a *small* amount of fertilizer (start smaller than you think and slowly work up a little more over time as the roots get bigger) to feed them.

Not every water replacement needs fertilizer. It’ll be a good cleanse with clean water.

I think my #spiderplant is throwing out a pup for the first time 😳

After 2 months and losing both her leaves my semi-hydro #alocasia finally started a new leaf 😭🥳🥳

It would appear my cleaning methods worked and the spider mites are gone.

I’ll be keeping them outside for awhile longer just to be extra sure though.

I checked all my other plants that have been outside since since it warmed up and they’re all clean.

I truly don’t know here these came from, I just hope I got rid of them for good 😭😭

All three are cleaned and repotted, but will be sitting in separate quarantine outside for a few days to be sure. The Peace Lily concerns me the most with how many leaves there are.

On a lighter note. My #Orchid has FINALLY started on a new leaf 🥳🥳

I don’t really know where they could have come from but my leading theory is on my clothes after leaving Lowe’s or Home Depot as all my outside plants are clean.

I will be inspecting them more thoroughly after work though to be sure.

Small Spider mite infestation. Noticed it in my Alocasia first. Gave her a good wipe down with isopropyl mixed with water.

I also repotted her into a smaller pot and had to cut off 3 leaves and likely to lose more.

It has also spread to my Peace Lily and Philodendron. 😩😩

Cracked my #aloe stem by accident and I kid you not it smells like chicken noodle soup 💀

I have decided to trim the flower stalk. As the - Black Velvet - isn’t doing too good with it around.

I’ll try to keep the next one around longer if possible, when ever that may be.

Update: She smells amazing, just a slight sweetness to it too

The two #spiderplant propagations I got from Home Depot have been doing very well.

The repot was into a pot that’s bigger than would be recommended but I wanna give them some extra room to see how big their tubers will get.
