Possibly the final blog piece drawn from my thesis chapters.
Some ideas for newer pieces of writing are gestating.

Alistair 1918. Found Footage (or faux documentary - the footage isn't 'found') that does different things to many within the genre, not least because it's not horror.

New blog post - old material.
Newer stuff coming.
I had an Audible notification the other day that there was a new book by you, which I thought was quick work after Rare Singles, but it turns out you share your name with a theology academic.
Incidentally, loved The Offing and Ralph's narration of it (and Pig Iron) was superb.
I have found myself having read (or listened to) 6 of Benjamin Myers' books over the last couple of years, and can't recommend this one enough. Beautiful prose throughout and Ineson is a bloody good rep...erm, narrator.
Do read Pig Iron, though, as it's even better.

My blog can be found here - lots of extracts from my thesis, as well as some pieces looking at social realism(Alan Clarke, especially).
First conference for a good while at @horrorstudies.bsky.social last week, and really enjoyed the quality of the papers, and I have to say, as a very fussy vegetarian it was the best conference food Iโve encountered.
Inspired to research and write outside of my thesis constraints.
