My biggest concern re 2026 midterms is Elon Musk who is "really good at computers". Have not bought into it, but there IS a major conspiracy theory about him winning all swing states (a near impossibility) as the result of some magical computer funny biz.

And the same could be done for 2026.

We should have never thought anyone was coming to save us - we were always going to have to do that ourselves.

Right now we should be organizing for the midterms. All of 2026, we need to be focused on get out the vote campaigns and what to do if the administration tries to block voting access. 1/2

Some people are speculating that he’s going to try to stop the midterms due to a war, but that’s not happening - we’ve had elections through every war in our nation’s history

As the economy continues to contract, I expect that approval rating to tank.

Right now, I feel like it’s being artificially propped up by the media largely refusing to hold the administration’s feet to the fire.

He’s already underwater on every issue, so 40% makes no sense.

I haven’t seen any, but I don’t think the Curator’s Office would have allowed anything to happen to the artwork and furnishings - they’re responsible for maintaining all of that, and they take that job very seriously.

I think you’ll see a LOT of people on the GOP side of the aisle start to push back (Vance included) if he tries to stay in office after this term.

They’re leaving whether they want to or not.

The Secret Service will literally drag him out of the building if they have to - not that I expect them to with his current health.

I know the GOP won’t push back on him *now* but they are very much looking forward to getting rid of him, too. 1/2
