There are a multitude of reasons why a person's voice doesn't match their gender. None of those reasons are your business and nobody owes you an explanation. Just do your job and stop needlessly harming your customers.

Customer service representatives stop misgendering people! I don't give a shit what their voice sounds like, if they tell you who they are then take them at their word. When the customer corrects you then use the correct pronouns. Get over your preconceptions about what a woman's voice sounds like.
