Lots of neurodivergent folks don’t interview well. A few things you can do-

Provide the questions in advance

Offer a camera off (online) or alternative interview option like a walk and talk.

Craft questions not to be subjective and open ended.

Keep it about the job to be done.

Thread. There's also the issue that good, intensive journalism costs money and takes an editing/publishing infrastructure - more than many individual writers can afford and manage on their own. Single-writer newsletters can't and won't save journalism.
