I had not heard that but it doesn’t surprise me. I know his version of a new government is not mine. Mine would model closely what we currently have but would replace norms with laws to prevent the “rule of politics”, which is what we have now and have had for a while.

I believe we need a new government. This one isn’t fixable at this point. The weaknesses are exposed for the next would-be dictator.

I think we really should stop using antifa and just fully say anti-fascist and get them saying they are against anti fascism. Using antifa is giving them some distance and I genuinely think some of their base don’t even know that’s what it stands for.

Taken just a few minutes ago outside the ICE facility in Portland that Trump claims is under siege. My message to Donald Trump is this: we don’t need you here. Stay the hell out of our city.

Sources provided here in other comments are good. Also the Oregonian. Current issues are about the ICE facility in SW Portland (not SE). It happens to be right next to the Portland Tesla dealership.
