When I was active duty in the 90s, I had airmen and even NCOs on WIC so this is nothing new. Our enlisted troops are severely underpaid, especially if they have dependents. Our lower ranks with families live in some sketch areas here. It’s all they can afford.

About 2500 of us had some fun in Vacaville CA today. That’s an amazing turnout for one of the reddest towns in the county. The smiles & laughter & then the cheering for the impromptu parade of cars that kept driving back and forth waving signs & flags & honking was awesome. We ❤️ America.
