Pin Down is not a bad choice, but as an Action Hero I like the idea of Kole with Quick Swap. Get him a rotolaser ASAP and he can respond to different situations. But more importantly he can carry a few backup weapons and use Quick Swap instead of loading.

Akitonian Ysoki and Tinkering Fingers is a great combo, love to see it on Tycho. Though I would lock in Crafting from something else before the heritage in order to get Quick Repair. It's worth trading out Arcana for it, given most of what that offers is redundant with other skills.

Nah, by boring I mean they're redundant with azarketi. There's little to distinguish them except they don't have the stuff that makes azarketi interesting. Paizo favours ancestries that will make some of their audience sit up and pay attention. Which is why I think cecaelia could make it.

Athamaru are distinctly the remaster version of locathah. Monster Core features a direct counterpart to sahuagin in sedacthy, but I don't expect them to ever be playable because they're not cool enough.

I think they're OGL derived? And the most boring underwater people option.

They've been soft-decanonized from SF. In a "we're not actively retconning Threefold Conspiracy at this time, but reptoids won't be mentioned again" way.

Unfortunately they're kinda just fetchlings but with more eugenics and tendency toward evil. That's what I came away with after trying to think about making a 2e version of them.

I think I know what that one is! And yeah, that would be way cooler!
