Actually, no, I don’t hate it. Tinkering with this stuff is why I love it. I DO hate how much ambition I have sometimes. But if it gets me to make something I’ll be proud of, it’s gonna be worth it.

Man, I hate forming all the story beats in my head and having to put them all into place…

For the project I’m working on, I’ve made it a rule to work out the idea or solution first, THEN figure out how to cover it up as a mystery. If it works as one anyway.

The reaction to the FRLG ports kind of annoys me. They’re not doing it via NSO because they want Pokemon Home compatibility (which I want) and NSO removing save states just for Pokemon would be weird. If the price bothers you so much, then find the roms and emulate. It’s not that hard.

Feeling a bit melancholic about this. I just picked up the MGS Master collection ports that use their MGS HD collection as a base for Switch 2… It’s really good. I never played the originals, but I haven’t run into or noticed and problems (that I care about) so… Yeah, it’s just sad and unfair.

Should do that more.

The fact that one of the most interesting versions of Captain Hook is probably from the 90's Fox's Peter Pan & The Pirates, is kind of crazy.

I wonder if the DBS remake can somehow both keep Blue Kaioken AND add the part where Goku tries to Hakai Zamasu from the manga... I KNOW Blue Kaioken was a Toei invention (and somehow Blue Evolution wasn't) but it was a damn good invention. Besides, cutting it would probably take more effort...

For what it was, I liked Ultimate Spider-Man a lot, in spite of its issues. Kinda pissed the final issue just came out NOW, after Ultimate Endgame started, but y'know. Shit happens. The scope was ultimately limited by its length, but it was still really good stuff. Could absolutely have gone longer.

I know a lot of what "went wrong" with Spider-Man 2 (PS5), but honestly, a lot of the videos popping up for me recently about how it was disappointing, bad etc it is, just rings hollow to me. Not really gonna defend or argue my point, but I like the game a lot. More than the first game in my mind.
