I'm lucky, while I work from home I get to hear my kid and one of his grandmas as they play downstairs. I hate that this luck means that my mom (and my SO's mom) are spending their golden years looking after my child because we both have to work. And even then, we can't afford daycare. #childcare

Take my advice with a grain of salt though, I've been at the same studio for 15+ years and have only helped interview candidates a handful of times. Good luck!!

Different studios -> apply for one each (probably the best fit for your skills)
If they're interviewing you and you seem like a better fit for a different position in that studio, they'll (most likely) consider you for that spot
(this is based on my very little experience in helping hiring)

I just got perfection in #StardewValley for the first time time.....what do I do now?

I apologize for the stream of spam last night, I imported things from Twitter so I'd look less like a spambot serial killer, didn't realize it would all go at once. But duh, computers do what you tell them to do 🤦

Mobile games that have ads should be limited to one close button, instead of having to hit one, and another, and another, and then one more that moved to the other side of the screen.

I have no idea what I'm doing (following so many people I don't know vs whatever Twitter did feels weird), but here I am! I'll mostly post #GameDev stuff (yay #EverQuest!) and random shenanigans (I still miss Google music) whenever I remember to.

So this happened. My little guy is now almost 4 months old and I'm back at work. Thankful I was able to take three solid months and that I've got family to help take care of him while I work.
