I'm only vaguely familiar with the PS1 games I played a few times...think they were animesque enough most palettes not trying to be the next Duck Amuck would've been fair game.

For what it's worth, I find it interesting that you gave Byron darkened fur that reminds of his old designs, but slightly more brown. Did you choose it with the game's stages in mind?

I'm so basic brained that my mind went to a babyfur parody of the game called Doody Rear.

Huh, I don't recall bubblegum specifically but I do remember most syrups were sweet and artificial fruit flavored... since those were all I knew for years I found it weird that cartoons made such a fuss about taking medicine.

Japan has over 70 years of expertise building those miniature cities to topple and blow up, I know people tend to be contemptuous of them but you have to admire the quality of the miniatures especially considering their disposable nature.

No permit required for shooting (or at least easier than within a town), ample space for wide shots, no pesky public structures getting in the way of cranes...and if it was up to me I'd get plenty of episodes worth of footage in a single day whenever possible.
