I've have learned a very easy way to tell if I'm gonna find a video game that has 'souls like' combat boring.
Can I animation cancel out of an attack with a dodge or parry?
If Yes I'm gonna LOVE it!!!
If No it's the same boring none active combat as every other one...

Been one hell of a Torchlight Infinite season! The new class maybe squishy as a noodle but that hasn't stopped me from putting in almost 200 hours into the new Vorax league. Gonna make a full video on everything soon but for now we got t0 gear to make and a SS20 boss to smash!

Torchlight Infinite's new season popped off last night and I had to go Erika 3 cause it looked like Flicker Strike cranked to 11! And boy howdy is it! I have no control but we are going places!

I'm still waiting for the anime where the protagonist gets isekaied only to realize with their op powers of magic they are a literal walking bidet and thus they try to blast themselves with water but it's like a fire hose!

Got a key long ago for Necesse but didn't get to chance to play it then but NOW we got some time and boy was the first day fun! Onwards to day 2 blind on Brutal! As it should be.

Logged on booted up Path of Exile 2 stream and an hour in I was just bored. So I closed the game and went to play something else. All of sudden it was 3am and 6 hours had passed! That's what gaming should feel like!!! So I'm done with PoE2 for the season hyped for PoE1!

When you gotta generate charges some how in Path of Exile 2 you bust out the sheets and see what Hateforge to you gotta buy...

The more Path of Exile 2 I play the more I think my choices don't matter. Every time you try to venture of the beaten path you get told no. That thing can't generate charges, can't get infusions, can't get single target, can't can't can't. I get whiplash from PoE1s freedom!

Being broke I had to liquidate the whole stash just to get 2 divines but I got a pair of gloves and now we do some damage! Comet Totems is starting to really ramp!

I just found the coolest skill in Path of Exile 2 but then got super sad that it has a unmodified 7 second wait time to cast. Nothing seems to make it faster! So lame!

Day 2 of Plants done. Its really weird in Path of Exile 2 you can apply Impales with Spells but as far as I can figure out they can only be procd by Attacks? So I have to use an army of temp minions to use my Spell Impales? Odd design choice...

Day 1 of Path of Exile Last of the Druids finished. Sent it blind into Oracle Druid doing only Plants and boy howdy is it slow. Same thing I said last league getting skills and interactions so late into the campaign is ugh... tomorrow the fun beings when we hit 58!

Path of Exile 2 Druid Plants vs Atziri here we go! Gonna just send it and see what happens on the Oracle it'll be a right mess I'm sure!

So turns out giving a Animate Guardian a The Grey Wind in Path of Exile Keepers turns him into a true thing of fear! What a odd build this has turned into but man has it been smooth! Already level 90 12 hours in and more to come. Stream on!
