I saw many veterans at the Hands Off protest — from every branch.

One of the speakers was a Marine Corps veteran.

These two women in front of me are veterans. The woman on the left was an Apache helicopter pilot in Afghanistan.

This is who We, the People are.

The left needs to stay focused and stop running towards every pile of bullshit that Trump sets on fire.

We need to register voters and pressure Congress to protect our institutions.

And we should all be going to our local protests and town halls. There is victory in numbers.

Judging by the amount of time Pete Hegseth spends posting his workouts, I imagine this to be his dream job.

I suppose I should probably devote more time to this platform, since I’m basically shadow-banned on its evil counterpart.

The people who are praising a Silicon Valley billionaire for stealing their Social Security numbers, bank account information, and health data — refused to get the Covid-19 vaccine because they thought it might contain a government tracking device.

I said months ago that Elon Musk needed to be fully investigated, dragged before the Senate and grilled.

And Senate @Democrats.org — under the leadership of Chuck Schumer — did nothing.

It’s time for new Democratic leadership — from the top down.

Current leadership is not up to the task.

We’ve gone from Trump promising to lower groceries and gas prices on day one — to claiming it will take some time to drop prices — to now saying that we’re all going to have to feel some pain.

Guess who won’t be “feeling the pain.”

Trump, his shithole family and his oligarchs.

Pete Hegseth — a halfwit Fox News drunkard with ZERO managerial experience — is now in charge of the entire Pentagon.

America’s military was our only institution that garnered broad support and commanded respect.

And now our nation has officially become a pathetic joke.

Trump is now trying to insult his way to lower gas prices.

Great strategy.

Biden basically became an oil trader and sold our oil on the open market at a cheaper rate, forcing OPEC to lower their prices.

THAT is the art of the deal.

Trump’s art is nothing more than dumb bluster.

Trump wants to “flood the zone.”

No problem.

We’ve been here before and we know how to swim. Don’t give up and don’t give in.

If either Kash Patel, Tulsi Gabbard, or Pete Hegseth are confirmed, it’s pretty much game over for America.

I’m not sure even the very best of late night comedy will make this 4 year catastrophe bearable.

MAGA Republicans don’t realize that when history is written, their movement will be remembered as the primary cause of American decline.

That “America first” will be known as the point in history when America was lost.

And that when a felon became president, the dream was over.

We cannot allow that to happen.

If we do, that river will drown out the voices of people like Jimmy Carter.

And we may never again be blessed with a leader of his character, kindness and generosity.

May he rest in peace, with our respect and gratitude.

My greatest fear is that their river of bile becomes the prominent fixture of our political landscape.

And that our fatigue from trying to hold back the tide evolves into a form of muted acquiescence.

Within minutes of President Carter’s passing, MAGA slugs slithered out of their sewers to deposit their social media sludge.

They attacked Jimmy Carter— a humanitarian who built houses for the poor by hand until he was in his 90’s —because that is the example Trump set for them.

Trump did not create their hate.

He gave them permission to unleash it when he came down the escalator and gave that speech — and every speech since.

Now their bile flows like a river out of the rightwing, with no signs of ever being diverted.

Decency be dammed.

Our nation has always had individuals who are filled with hate — and a segment of those individuals who cannot contain their hate behind even the thinnest veneer of decency.

But never has their bile so freely flowed as it does now, today.

Jimmy Carter took office in 1977—the same year that Star Wars came out—and was a relentless force for good, ever since.

After leaving office, most presidents write books and get paid for speeches.

President Carter decided to built houses for the poor.
