this update in real time or like on a per view basis?

Its actually very complex and has a lot to do with different historical policy calls and driving patterns, high level the regulatory environment in Europe favored diesels for a very long time. Makes sense from a certain perspective, it is actually a more efficient fuel than gasoline

To be fair, with full context it actually becomes crazier

It's got a similar gameplay loop to df, just on a much larger scale. I've taken cities to like 30,000 people before. Combat is a lot more along the lines of total war though and pretty janky last I checked (iirc it's been overhauled recently)
Very distinct vibe though imo

got a couple hundred hours in it, very enjoyable city builder that maintains interesting challenges right up until very late in the end game. You absolutely must use blueprints though.

28 is a lot easier to paint and imo model details resolve a lot better when they're on the table

14.12.2025 16:22 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

makes sense. Was kicking around a scenario where rate changes cause revalue causes carry trades to get unwound on a large enough scale to have some type of additional knock on effect on the broader economy and articulated it poorly

27.11.2025 17:14 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

speculation;
some surprise or sudden change in the relative value/yields of different currencies (like yen vs USD) would most likely trigger a massive amount of major financial institutions exiting their carry trades positions, which could rapidly spike or crash currencies. Gasoline on a fire ect

yeah, I'm not up to date on it at all but that tracks

27.11.2025 05:19 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Mostly done by borrowing in one currency, converting it to another with higher interest on bonds and then pocketing the interest iirc. Not clear on the details, just what I recall from work. Big risk I think is just exchange rates, otherwise freeish money lol

27.11.2025 04:36 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

surely there is like some post processing software you could feed the audio into to do that?

25.11.2025 17:45 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

what the fuck does this headline even mean?

19.11.2025 15:38 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

run the calculator on like flour or rice, insane ratio

19.11.2025 15:38 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

Oh aldi easily, not even close. Taco bell imo only wins that if you compare it to other fast food

19.11.2025 11:33 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

ohhh! Why would you need multiple?

17.11.2025 18:49 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

what's a traktor s4?

I don't miss that v-tec actuator lol

14.11.2025 20:24 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

full disclosure, i've been daily driving a motorcycle for several months now so my astonishment at how heavy the vehicle felt may have been enhanced by that

14.11.2025 20:19 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

It was extremely funny. Dude only had two wheel drive and weighed like 2x what the tacoma did though lol

14.11.2025 20:18 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

I actually had a chance to drive a newer 2024 tacoma (which is insanely huge) and I was horrified at the complete lack of visibility. Insane blind spots including like not being able to see 10-15 feet of the road in front of you.

Also just absurdly heavy which you could really feel in corners.

14.11.2025 20:16 β€” πŸ‘ 3    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

that truck actually has much better visibility than modern ones as well horrifically enough. Windows have gotten smaller and you lose a lot of field of view to the larger hoods and increased height

14.11.2025 20:13 β€” πŸ‘ 5    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 3    πŸ“Œ 0

Iirc aren't renters hit the hardest by property taxes because they (or their landlords) don't get any of the homestead exemptions? Dunno if Chicago does that

10.11.2025 21:03 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

eh i wouldn't say so, you at least tolerate my nearly endless rambling about whatever we end up running across which would indicate to me you've still got a little of that

09.11.2025 19:35 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

you gotta join us on the white monster side lol

06.11.2025 19:11 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 1    πŸ“Œ 0

That's a shame, he was pretty funny

29.10.2025 13:41 β€” πŸ‘ 0    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Not building in some auto fail over stuff is incredibly sloppy work

20.10.2025 16:28 β€” πŸ‘ 2    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

To be fair I did also on a very rare occasion make some suspiciously informed comments about rust. Still, insane clock. I was in awe

11.10.2025 03:38 β€” πŸ‘ 1    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

You lost me at some point here
