You could check out the browser extension I made. Won't let you completely filter out AI games, but it'll display the AI disclosure as a popup on page load, so at least you won't have to scroll down to find it.

It's not officially supported, but some users have reported that the Chrome version works in the Steam desktop client via Millennium + Extendium.

The pronoun labeler, which was by far the most useful labeler on the site, was deleted by its creator. But thanks to @ripperoni.com there’s a new one available. I highly recommend it. It’s a great way to share your pronouns or see someone else’s pronouns at a glance.

itch.io has mandatory genAI tags that you can filter out in the search. Those two are the only ones that have anything like that tho.

You can ignore entire developers (and publishers), but only if they have a developer/publisher page on Steam, which unfortunately is not the case for Embark Studios. For developers/publishers that do have a page, go to the page, click on the cog on the right and then select "Ignore this creator."

I was hoping that too, but pretty much the first thing they did after separating from CDPR was actively search for AI devs and start using AI-generated images, despite users begging them to stay AI-free for months.

On Steam there's currently no way to completely filter out games made with genAI, but I made a browser extension that warns you when you're viewing one. github.com/seeeeew/aiwa...

Unfortunately the genAI tags on itch won't be shown on the game page itself, but I made a browser extension to fix that.

There go my hopes of them eventually adding AI disclosures like Steam or AI tags like itch. 😩

That doesn't sound dumb at all. One is a yearly holiday, the other is a big achievement that only happens once and opens up a ton of new possibilities.

Yes, but unfortunately it appears nowhere on the product page, so if you get there through links from other sites instead of the built-in search, you won't see it. I really hope eventually itch will add a visible AI disclosure like Steam has, and Steam will add a filter option like itch has.
