especially if the artist is clearly harmlessly coping as a trauma victim.

I can't wait for people to recognize that more often than not that the whole "People will draw to express trauma" extends to people who actually want to act on unethical desires, and that all trauma victims deserve to be able to express themselves, not just the ones that are more palatable.

God fucking yes, so many bipoc people are treated horribly compared to white folks when portraying the less pretty aspects of mental health issues and trauma. It's awful. The way people will assume guilt from kinky or transgressive bipoc artists should absolutely be pointed out.
