My life is hectic, I'm extremely sick, and it takes longer than ever to pump out art. People don't deserve the wait time but I literally cannot help it. I can't do it anymore

Once my to do list is empty, I'm never taking public commissions again. My commissioners have been very gracious but the online atmosphere has become so hostile I have panic attacks when customers message me, and I'm afraid to message others. I'm on edge everyday waiting for call-out posts.

So i got bad news, my mom is in intensive care after needing emergency surgery. my mom is a cancer patient with myloid leukemia and she lives in a different state than i do. i wish i could go see her but i cant due to the winter storm being so harsh. i am very worried and upset.

It's okay to feel grief even for those you didn't know personally. You can still care for people. You can still feel the grief of losing someone, it can still impact you. It's not selfish to grieve a loss with us, it can be soothing to not grieve alone. Tell your loved ones you care. Support them

In passing on they are no longer suffering. Even when they leave us all too soon, we are grieving the loss of them being with us. Does it get easier? Yes, you adapt over time. But the feelings don't ever fully go away. And.....that's okay. Grief just means we loved them dearly. Grief means you care

When someone you love passes, you never actually move on. You just learn to navigate this new world you've entered. We aren't sad that they passed on, we are sad they aren't here with us. The pain of not being able to be with them anymore, that's what makes grief so painful. They are flying free
